WhatsApp Number
WhatPro sends every message from a WhatsApp Business number you connect through Meta. This page covers viewing that number, checking its health, and reconnecting when needed. For the initial setup, see Connect WhatsApp API.
The connected number
Section titled “The connected number”In Settings, the Connect WhatsApp card shows the current connection. Once connected, it displays:
- The display phone number and its verified business name.
- The Phone Number ID.
- A status badge — ACTIVE when the connection is healthy.
- When the access token was last refreshed.
The connected number also appears as the sender in your Logs, so you can see which number each message went out from.
Account health
Section titled “Account health”The Dashboard surfaces Meta’s account-health signals for the connected number, including:
- Quality rating — Meta’s GREEN / YELLOW / RED rating of your messaging quality.
- Messaging limit — how many business-initiated conversations the number is allowed to start.
These come from Meta and refresh while the connection is valid. If the connection is expired or missing a permission, these tiles stop refreshing and the dashboard shows a reconnect banner instead.
Reconnecting
Section titled “Reconnecting”Meta’s long-lived access tokens last about 60 days. WhatPro warns you when a token is approaching expiry and prompts you to reconnect.
To reconnect:
- Open Settings.
- On the Connect WhatsApp card, select Reconnect with Meta.
- Complete Meta’s Embedded Signup, choosing the same WhatsApp Business Account and phone number.
Reconnecting refreshes the token in place and flips the status back to ACTIVE — it does not change your number or lose any data.
