Campaigns overview
Campaigns are bulk WhatsApp broadcasts — promotions, launches, re-engagement — sent to a Shopify customer segment. Each campaign uses an approved Meta template and reports on delivery, reads, and attributed revenue.
Available on Growth (1 campaign per month, up to 250 recipients) and Plus (unlimited campaigns and recipients).
Building a campaign
Section titled “Building a campaign”- Audience — pick a Shopify customer segment. Only customers who have opted in to WhatsApp (tagged as newsletter subscribers) receive the broadcast.
- Message — write the body, header (text or image), buttons, and an optional discount. WhatPro submits the template to Meta for approval if needed.
- Schedule — send now or schedule for a date and time in your store’s timezone.
- Launch — WhatPro fans out the sends in batches and tracks each recipient.
Plan limits
Section titled “Plan limits”- Growth — one campaign per calendar month, up to 250 recipients in it.
- Plus — unlimited campaigns and recipients.
If you reach the limit, the launch is blocked with a clear message and a prompt to upgrade. Drafts are always free to create.
Reporting
Section titled “Reporting”The Campaigns list and each campaign’s detail page show messages sent, delivered, read, failed, opt-outs, and attributed orders and revenue (direct and assisted), plus an estimated Meta spend for the campaign. The date filter defaults to the last 30 days.
Opt-outs
Section titled “Opt-outs”Customers can reply STOP to opt out of marketing. WhatPro records the opt-out and (optionally) sends an auto-reply, and won’t include opted-out customers in future campaigns.
